It all started when the couple Claudio Gutierrez and Mariana Meirelles left Rio de Janeiro, stepping out of the financial market, and deciding to dedicate themselves to producing quality coffees, which they have been passionately doing for the past 25 years.
The couple acquired a property in Capelinha, Minas Gerais, where they formed their family. Fazenda Tahiti’s main value is the well-being of its employees and their families, most of whom have been with the company for more than 20 years.
The farm has half of its 500 ha of native forest, crops interspersed with forests, receding the incidence of pests and diseases, and consequently the application of insecticides.
Fazenda Tahiti has overcome many challenges along the way, and with persistence, they have achieved exceptional results in Specialty Quality Competitions.
